Faith Can Only Get The Growing Entrepreneur So Far

blue glowing crossGrowing up, I had the Bible fed to me a lot. “Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen,” declared the preacher.

However, faith carries the growing entrepreneur only so far. You need to do more than believe because the Bible also says “faith without works is dead.”

You can believe all you want but if you don’t take action you won’t get anywhere. You need to do the work:

However, the type of work you need to do will also not cause the “things unseen” to materialize if you do it all for selfish reasons. I myself need a reason to want to succeed other than being to accumulate more money and material possessions.

My Purpose Beyond Financial Gain

dollars and change-EDITEDI want to use money I make to positively impact the world while speaking the truth.

However, I also have to remember my purpose beyond financial gain, which relates to items I post on my personal blogs.

My main motive right now for wanting to achieve financial freedom: I have no idea what’s going to happen to my sisters after my dad eventually passes away.

They’re autistic and can’t communicate using full sentences yet, and I want to be able to see them again once my dad is gone. My dad was going to have me be the person in charge of them until he became upset I reported him based on how he treated me as a child (not good).

I now risk the possibility of never seeing them again if I don’t make enough money to take care of them. I’m not even sure what’s going to happen in this situation, but I’d never be able to live with myself if I didn’t do more than just pray and have faith.
